Q: How do I use the map to find places to visit?
A: You can use the controls in the top left of the map or simply double click your left mouse button to zoom in. Click and hold to move around. As the map changes so will the selection of places to visit.
Q: The map lets me go anywhere in the world but I don’t see any places to visit, why?
A: At the moment our database covers the UK.
Q: How do I add things to 'My List'?
A: Click on the name of the attraction in the results page, this will be added to your list and a location pin will appear on the map
Q: I've clicked the name of a place I'm interested in but I can't see the location pin, why?
A: Try zooming out on the map.
Q: How do I clear pins on the map?
A: Click on 'My List'. There you can remove all or some of the pins.
Q: What are 'themes'?
A: We've created 'Themes' to help you choose the type of day out you would like. For example, if you are looking for a family day out with children, select the 'Taking the Kids' theme and we'll show you places to visit that are child friendly.
Q: Why can't I find the attraction I'm looking for?
A: Type the name of the place in the search box, if it still doesn’t appear then its not on our list and we'd like to know about it so get in touch!!
Q: Can I purchase a ticket to visit an attraction from Freedom Days?
A: No, not as yet. Visit the attraction's website via the link on the full information page or use the contact details provided to contact the attraction directly.
Q: How do I get back to where I started?
A: Go to "My List" and clear the pins. Now click the 'Attraction' tab to change your theme and/or region on the map.
